Took some new pics
Kahr CW9 9mm I haven't really played around with this thing much. I did add the bike tire inner tube grip which actually made a big difference IMO. I use this as my summer carry/ gotta go somewhere quick carry choice. I've looked into sending it off to get the slide refinished black thanks to another member here doing it and Dawson nights sights installed. But hey it works the way it is!

I plan on replacing the trigger with a natural stainless one as well as the slide release then beveling both of them. Also plan on getting another magazine release and blasting it to bare steel to complete the look.

My carry stuff:
Two Federal 180 grain HST in .40 caliber. Fired through water and 4 layers of denim @ 21 feet. Both bullets reached halfway in the second 5 gallon bladder. They are expanded to .70 to .75 caliber. 
Needless to say they are my new carry load. |

I had been wanting to get a Kahr for years. I got glocks (19,23,26,35), and I got a little P3AT in a great pocket rig, but I wanted something in the middle. I had wanted to get a Kahr P9 Covert, but they were discontinued a while ago.
After chasing used P9s and Coverts on GunBroker, I finally just had Buds send a CW9 to my local FFL. I carried it for a day stock, and worked up the nerve to make my own Covert. So I cut .5" off the bottom, added a PM9 magazine, and its the best carry gun I could ask for:

Looks sweet! This is a super late reply but it's a Tucker Silent Thunder with a modified Comp-Tac 2 o'clock clip that allows the bulk to be cut almost in half. |
