I am kicking around picking up a CW 9 for an additional 9mm to shoot. I have never shot any Kahrs. I went and handled one at the LGS and it felt pretty good. I am currently recovering from shoulder surgery so not in a huge rush but what are the thoughts of people who have the CW9. The things i have been hearing about Kahrs are people love them or hate them.

My SO carries a cw9 and loves it. it had a few hiccups in the first hundred rounds but has been flawless in the thousand or so since. I'm not a huge fan of the long DA trigger but to each his own. It does its job properly and conceals well.

I have a CM9 and it is my go to carry gun, I shoot it better than any other handgun I have. I did the 200 round break in but I would trust it after 50 rds no problems

550 rounds through my CW9, no issues what so ever.  Carry it in a PJ Holster and it completely disappears.

I have nearly 400 rounds through mine. It is my go to carry weapon due to the size and ease of carry in general. I bet my life on mine every day.

It took probably eight or so guns to find the one that my fiance liked, finally after picking up a CW9, she has found her EDC gun. She shoots it better than I can and says it is real comfortable for her. Personally even with big hands I do OK with it and would have to recommend it. The biggest downfall to me is the limited numbed of rounds and the price of magazines.

I've got a CW9 and carry it every day.  I got a deal on it with the idea to flip it for something else.  I shot so well with it at 25 yards, I decided to keep it.  My biggest issue with my CW9 is any time you try to sling shot the slide on a reload, every HP round I have tried noes dives into the feed ramp.  If you use the slide release there is never an issue.  Known issue that is even in the owners manual.  Something you should factor in if you are a Glock shooter that never uses a slide release.  David

I for sure dont mind following the rules or breaking one in. I have seen them at the local Cabelas which is in a high tax area for 400 bucks and 430 at a LGS in a much lower tax area. Is that about a fair price on them? Also any issues on finding mags for them?

I paid $370 OTD for mine in mid December before the madness began.  Mags may prove difficult to find right now as well, doesn't sound like too terrible of a deal considering how things have been the past 3-4 months.

CW9 was my first introduction into the Kahr world. Has been a pretty seamless event, nothing to speak of in terms of failures or other problems. Not a super fan of the long trigger but I've grown used to it. Took some practice at the range to get accuracy I was looking for. It's my carry piece for the last year. Feels comfy in my holster. The main thing is I'm confident in its ability to go bang. Fed hollows and full metal without a problem from break in until now. For some reason I haven't looked at other Kahr's for purchase. No reason, just happy with my CW9. Hope the feedback helps.

I do appreciate all of the input. I made a mistake when I went to check them out and picked up a M+P totally apples and oranges but I do like the way the Kahrs feel.

Kahrs are easy to carry because they are really flat. I have CW45, 40, K9, T9 and now also CW9, never had any problems with them

I traded a Ruger LC9 for my present Kahr CW9 and couldn't be happier. Less snap and recoil than the LC and more accurate for me.

I can pocket carry it with large enough pockets, the CM9 would be better for that.

CW9 is my carry these days. Never had a problem, even during break-in period. The trigger pull might not be for everybody but I've grown accustomed to it. Racking the slide can lead to bullets nose diving into the ramp but not a problem for this owner. Just as long as you properly release the slide (no riding it or pulling it semi back) then you shouldn't have a problem. Eats HP and FMJ without hesitation. At this point, I trust it with my life. That's good enough for me. Oh, the clips are surely a weak point. Price is high and I've noticed on my non-extended mag that the floor plate likes to slip around every now and then.

Recently acquired a CM9 to CCW when I simply cannot carry my preferred S&W M&P9c. Only one range trip so far (appx 50rds, no problems), recoil was surprisingly mild/controllable but the biggest surprise was being able to hit coke cans at 10yds w/the DAO-style trigger. Very happy so far!

My CW9 is my go to CCW piece probably 75% of the year.  With a good (Crossbreed MiniTuck) IWB holster, the CW9 disappears under the thinnest of T-shirts.

I have had zero issue with it - except for some slight rust forming on the magazine release and exterior of the barrel, due to my lack of regular maintenance/cleaning, after sweating like a beast in the 95 degree humid weather we have been having.  I detail stripped it over the weekend and everything cleaned up just fine.
