| Took my PM9 to the range today and wow what a great little carry gun. Put a 150 rounds through it without a single problem. The only complaint I have is the trigger. The resit is way to long. Does anyone no who does a good trigger job. |

The Kahr was designed to have a longer double action trigger pull like a S&W revolver.
This includes a longer reset. This makes the Kahr safer to carry than the short Glock-type short triggers. The Kahr was designed to be a small concealable gun that could be carried safely, like a double action revolver. There's nothing that can be done to change the reset, it's the nature of the design. With practice you'll get used to it. |

A trigger job on a Kahr usually consists of just polishing all the moving parts to further smooth out the trigger pull. I have yet to hear of anyone that is able to shorten the reset, however the fellow in this thread claims to be working on a way to do just that. I will be keeping an eye on this to see if he has any luck.
I have to agree with the advice the others have given. The best way to improve your shooting ability with the Kahr is putting in more trigger time. If your handy with a dremel, you could do your own trigger job by following this video on a Kahr Action Job I found it pretty helpful, and it did make some difference, but not a lot since most of the parts are already pretty smooth. |

I'd be really hesitant about shortening the Kahr trigger pull or lightening it much at all.
Unlike the Glock and M&P types, the "trigger safety" on the Kahr is the longer revolver-like trigger. With a lighter or shorter trigger, it would be a lot easier to have an accidental discharge. Too light or short a trigger would be about the same thing as removing the Glock trigger block lever. |

While I agree the Kahr`s trigger is excellent already, and its design is one of the built in safety features. I disagree about your thoughts on Accidental discharge. A gun carried in a proper holster, and handled appropriately is no more or less likely to be accidentally discharged based solely on trigger pull. Anyone practicing safe firearms handling knows that your finger shouldnt be on that trigger until you are ready to fire. Now for those guys that pocket carry without a holster, well thats a different story. Op : In my opinion any issues you have with the Kahr`s trigger can be resolved by range time. |
