Today, I shot 100 rounds with 100 rounds going bang.  This is the first time I have not had at least one (1) malfunction in my new PM9.  I even used the mag that all of my malfunctions have come from.  I got a box of each Winchester 147 gr TCMC and 147 gr SXT.  The SXT is what I will carry in it after I qualify.  This is the least amount of rounds that I have shot each time but it was a good session.  I will not carry the seven (7) round mag that has caused me all of my malfunctions but I will continue to use it for practice because who doesn't love a good malfunction drill.  I am confident with the six (6) round and seven (7) rounder that has not malfunctioned.  Now, I have to clean it up good and get it ready for duty.  Cleat

That sucks that you have been having problems.  I have had a cw9 for about a year now and I have absolutely zero malfunctions of any kind.  But I bought another mag this weekend at a funshow and just running rounds through it by hand.  It want's to ftf the first 2 rounds.  I guess I'll find out the next chance I get to use it.  Congrats on your fix.

Glad to hear it's working out for you!

What did you end up trying with that problem mag? Like I said in your other thread, replacing the mag springs with Wolf springs fixed my problem right away (also installed a Wolf recoil spring). A little more difficult to load the mags at the beginning, but I have not had one malfunction since doing so (about 800 rounds). I did purchase mine used but it was still well within the couple hundred round break-in stage.

Kahr actually uses wolff springs from the factory FYI

Sorry to hear about the problems.  I sounds like the Kahrs are hit or miss.  I just got a PM9 and fired 200 rounds of mixed ammo ranging from 147 gr to 124 without one issue.  On the other hand, I also just got a Springfield TRP and it failed between 400 and 500 rounds.  I had to send it back to Springfield so they could refit the frame to the slide.  So far so good, but it is hard to put your trust in a pistol that is not 100% reliable.

I qualified with it the other day and had two (2) malfunctions but they were both with the bad mag.  I am carrying it everyday now with the six (6) round mag and the good seven (7) round mag as a reload in the door of my vehicle.  I plan on keeping the bad mag as a training tool.  You never know when you need a slap, rack, ready and with the bad mag I will have one about every 50-100 rounds.  Cleat
