| I live in TX. I recently located a XD 9mm Sub Compact with magazine extension and one magazine. They want $439.00 + tax. It is a new weapon. Is this to much for an XD Sub Compact? Thank you for you help. |

Good buy! I tried the XD SC 9 mm in my Super Tuck and really like the idea of the reduced barrel poke down into your pants (vs the XDM 9mm), significantly lighter weight, and in particular the shorter grip which meant that the gun in the 3:30 position did not intrude into the back of a chair when you sit down. The mag extension is also a nice touch!
The funny thing is that for whatever reason out there, most of the reviews of this gun quotes a 10+1 and 16+1 round mag capacity for the two supplied 9 mm magazines – the real capacity is 13+1 and 16+1! |

| The other thing I notice about the XD SC is that it is much easier to draw from a Super Tuck than a XDM, mostly because of the significantly shorter barrel which makes clearing the holster a breeze. That $439 price is a smoking price indeed - The best price I have come across is $460 and that was at a gun show, it is on sale at Cabela's but is still $519! |

The "2006 package" is sold with 10 and 16 round magazines so it is not a typo.
