Do XD45 and XD40 share the same size holster? I got a new job the other week and want to add a 45 to my XD collection and am wondering if I can use my 40 holsters with the 45. Mostly wondering if my safariland will work.

I just got back from the LGS. Took the safariland up there to test fit it to a XD45 and she slid in and locked up tight with no problem. Now I need to decide if I want the 4" or the 5". I did look at a really nice SA 1911 loaded. Tuff choice.

I have a M-TAC for my XD 45c and a buddies XD 40 fits just like a glove. I do not remember the name of his holster right now but my 45 fits just fine in it.

I carry my XD45C and XD9 in the same holster. Both fit perfectly.

The same SuperTuck is used with my XD9SC and my XD45C.

Now, the MiniTuck for my M9, not so much.

if your a righty i would look at theCLIP DRAW for concealed carry. i know -you'll look at it and think -no way in hell !! i'm tellin you mine works great....i've bought alot of holsters, and for 20.00 you can't go wrong..
