So I just bought my first XD this week. And XDm in .40 S&W. Shot it for the first time yesterday, and am really liking it so far. It looks like it's going to be a great gun! But I'm curious to know what your recommended modifications or improvements would be to it? I'm not familiar with what's available yet, and don't know what I should be looking to have done first. I'm pretty confident that I want to replace the factory sights first probably, but then what? This gun will be used for both daily concealed carry as well as IPSC shooting in limited division. While I can appreciate the "More Ammo" recommendation... I was looking for something a bit more hardware related?  I read about a lot of folks getting the Springer Precision trigger job done. Can someone describe what's involved with that, and how it changes the stock trigger pull? Remember, this is also a carry gun, so I don't necessarily want the pull to be dangerously light for that type of situation. Also, what are the best recommended replacement sights for this gun?
