What really goes into making a Full rail TRP in terms of parts considering a SA Loaded. I know the TRP is head and shoulders over the more "mainstream" 1911 SA produces but is there a way of upgrading a Loaded model to the Full rail. Send the gun in to the CS and buy the parts (full rail reciever ect...) and pay the package? Just asking. Thanks

I guess for a price, anything is possible, but don't think you're proposal would be practical. given the mods to the frame required. Springfield Custom Shop will build a full rail 1911, but I think the tab is around $3K.  There are usually full-rail TRPs  on gunbroker.com.

You can order a full rail custom, it's right in the brochure still pretty sure.

Do anyone happen to know if the ID number for the Full rail TRP in .45acp is different from the 9mm full rail version. Or is the 9mm a addition check.

Thanks
