| Will springfield armory ever make one? I don't understand why they would make the 9mm and .40s&w but not in the venerable .45acp. I am looking for a new gun and would very much like to see this gun made! Am I the only one? |
| Give it time the XD 45 did not come out for awhile not counting the GAP. If they do come out with an XDM 45 I might try the XD one more time. This years shot show is going to be interesting I am sure maybe they might release one this year to compete with Glocks new Gen 4's. |
| Really? Last time I emailed Springfield the sales person (I know better than to trust them, but I'm just saying...) said that the XD would eventually be phased out in favor of selling XDm's only. While that may be a couple years out, SA will definitely produce a .45 if that actually occurs. |

I'm just saying: they don't give a sh*t what you think. They'll make something if, and ONLY if, they believe it will sell.
I really want S&W to make a mid size 9mm, same size as the 45c, with 15/13 round capacity in 9/40. Will they ever make one? Probably not. Would it sell well? Hell ya. But it would hurt the sales of their current compacts. They'll only do something if they make a bunch of money from doing it. |
