I am looking at getting one of these, but I have no .45 ACP ammo at all! And I'm not sure if SA still produces this model?

| That model is one of SA's most popular and is still in production, although hard to find. These guys SGC have one in stock as of last night, a stainless version for $649. Not the perfect 1911, but a good place to start. |

I love mine in stainless. I have been thinking of pimping it out but I have had so much fun with it the way it is. I had to replace the springs and extractor at around 3k rounds to fix some stovepipe issues i started having. Other than that period where she was worn out it has been 100% reliable and acurate as all get out.
