Can someone tell me what the large allen wrench is for that came with my new loaded Micro 1911?

Should be for the rear sight allen screw, IIRC.

Nope, it's a big allen wrench. Found out it's for the plastic holster and mag pouch.

Yep, to adjust  the tightness of the hoster and mag pouch.

Correct. However I hate using the factory holster. Coworker had his slide get some nice scratches the first time in it. Showed him my Serpa, he has never looked back.

I'd never use that factory holster. I like leather for 1911's. I was looking at a SERPA. Just for a grab and go, but I hear they take the finish off a 1911 in a hurry. Anyone have experience with one?

Yeah, I found out the hardway too.  Got a nice new XD45 with FDE frame and black slide and then it got all scratched up after only trying it in the factory holster a couple times.  I ended up getting a Serpa too!

My Micro didn't come with a holster................

Glad to hear you got it figured out.
