Here is my new (used) Springfield TRP.

I don't care much for the grips, so I will post more pics when I get them replaced.

You guys beat me to it.  Those grips match my countertops perfectly.  Interesting though.

I can't beleive that someone would put such ugly grips on such a nice gun...

Ok, begs the question... What grips should go on it?

Personally, I like the cross cannon SA cocobolo grips on my LW Champ. Operator, but IMHO cocobolo does not look good on a Stainless pistol...

I looked at lots of grips and I decided on the VZ Operators in black.

Excellent!  I'd like to hear a report on them once you have'em on your pistol.  I just ordered wrap around Hogues for my micro-compact 1911, I like they way they feel and that pistol doesn't have anything on the front...

I find those grips kinda neat. Maybe cause they are different. But than someone posted the operator grips and those are the cats meow. Really nice pistol, congrats.

Might also look at these grips:  http://www.mil-tac.com/grip_patterns.htm.

I've put them on 3 of my 1911s with wonderful results. Put some on my 92FS too.

Whatever grips you get, they need to be tactical. Otherwise they won't match the frame.
