Hello everyone. This is my first post, but I have been lurking this board for 2-3 years now.

I recently purchased a 4" XD-9 in all black. I was wondering if there was any way to obtain a stainless/brushed slide found in the Bi-Tone variety of XD's? I don't care whether it is straight from Springfield, or any aftermarket sources. I have done a little searching on this website but have not come up with anything.

There is not one thing I don't like about my XD, it comes with me wherever I go. It's just at the time I was shopping round, I could not find any FDE or Bi-Tone readily available, so I just decided to go with black. I had the cash, and didn't feel like waiting for the several gunshops I was perusing to have it ordered in. Now I am feeling a wee bit of buyer's remorse.

Back to the topic, though, are there any aftermarket or factory sources for buying a Bi-Tone slide?

you  could refinish it  in  hard chrome or  Robar's  NP3

Tripp  just  closed their refinishing business but they have links to other companies on this page

I haven't seen an after market slides for the XD let alone a stainless slide. You might be able to get one from SA but I'm doubtful they will actually sell you one. Its serial number matched to the frame.

Like others have said hard chrome or robar.

Of course you can just use this as an excuse to buy or order another XD with the stainless slide.
