I'm thinking of getting the Loaded Stainless model but can't find one locally. I'm interested in how much parking/non polished area there is on the slide. Could someone post some pics of the top of the slide and the sides? A good description of if the entire top is parked or gleaming stainless would be helpful as well. Thanks.

ETA: PX9151LP is the model I'm looking for.

It's a combination of polished and bead blasted on the frame and slide.

Thanks actionfiles, that looks sweet. Much better pics that I've been seeing.

How does it shoot?

I've got the champion version of the same pistol.

The matte/bead finish retains moisture easily, especially in the hot summer months here in texas.  I had a devil of a time keeping it rust free when I was carrying it as my CCW.

The mirror polish isn't really mirrored, but it's a good polish start if you plan on taking flitz or metal polish to it to make it really shine.

If you're going to use it for range shooting, they are fantastic, I'm very impressed with the fit/finish, and reliability of mine, except for the rusting problem above, and I wear next to skin, so that was probably a contributing factor as well.

All of the flats are polished to a shine, everything else is bead blasted.  The entire top of the slide has the flat finish since it is curved.

Don't have my camera handy, but this pic was on my photobucket and kinda shows the top

I shot 40/50rd. of 200 SWC at 25 yards in a 6 inch group non benchrest with a #3.5 trigger job. You can also change out the ILS mainspring with a #19 spring and this will lighten up the trigger for less than $10 without going to the gunsmith route. My only complaint was the trigger pull was around #6.5 when it was new. This is a nice gun for $699.

Any body else have trouble with rust as mentioned above?

This would not be a carry gun, it would live under the bed most of the time.

I used to on the outside of the barrel, I switched to very light coating of clp after I was done cleaning and not a problem in 2 years.

I love mine. No pics of it now. After 1k rounds, it's trigger was measured to be 4.5lbs (digital) by the judges of a comp I shot with it a couple of years ago.
