| I'm researching the Trophy Match for a possible purchase. I ran across a part# quandary. "Impact Guns" lists a Trophy Match Model#PI9140L and a model #PI9140LP, at different prices. Springfield Armory's site only lists the PI9140LP model. Are there 2 different models? If so, what are the differences? |

My SA catalog only lists the PI9140LP as well. Only SA can definitively answer this question, IMO, but if I had to guess, I would say the cheaper model is a fixed sight version. You don't list the price differences, so I don't know what the range spread is. You should love having the Trophy NM as much as I do having mine. Might I ask what you were quoted at? |
I'm still in the "research stage" on the TM. Doing all the online searching I can find. I haven't gotten to the negotiating table yet. The only noticeable difference I saw was different grips. There may be something along the lines of different LPI checkering, but this isn't noticeable in the pics. As I thought earlier, only SA can answer this one, IMO.
