Bought it, didn't notice any issues, fired about 100 rnds through it, brought it home and noticed the mag release is extremely difficult to push in with my index finger.
I have to use my thumb on my left hand to release the mag, while pushing up on the mag to get it to release. and putting in a mag is very hard as well, you have to push it up very hard to get it to click in. Any ideas? should i just send it back for repair?

My XD 45 comp has the similar issues when the mag is completely full.  Now, I don't need to use two hands to release a full mag, but I do need to use my thumb not my index finger to do it.  On my pistol, the problem is the result of the the bottom of the slide putting too much pressure on the stack of ammo, and I'm not too worried about it.  If your problem is like mine, you should be able to easily lock in a full mag if the slide is locked back as it would be if you just finished a mag.  If the mag doesn't go in easily with the slide back then I would consider sending it in or at least having someone look at it.

That was it, i guess it wasn't designed to release a full mag. Does release fine with an empty mag. Thanks for the help MRStaypuft.
