Well even though I have said it twice I again walked away with a new pistol. First bought a Kimber Tac Pro II and said it was good, came to the conclusion that .45 ACP was to expensive to shoot (300 rd. minimum when going to the range) so bought a Sig P226 9mm and said that was it, went in looking for some night sights for the Sig and bought the Kimber Warrior that I wanted through Iraq and said that was it for a while....well today I went in looking for a loaded model's price in case I wanted to trade in the Warrior, instead I walk out the door with a brand new TRP. Loved the look and feel, this will replace any of my carry pieces, and the Warriors future isn't looking to bright for staying around. I am thankful that I don't have a wife, I would be afraid to go home at this point.

| Well over the weekend got the chance to fire 250 rds through her, shot very nice. But the only complaint about it is the two piece FLGR, especially after I checked it and found that it had loosened. I bought a Ed Brown replacement GI style guide rod but after I put it in the slide seemed to be getting caught. When I disassembled it i noticed that the guide rod was tight inside the frame (the two piece that came with the pistol seems tight too), when I ran it down the slide it seemed like it was rubbing against it. Anyone know of a replacement that will just drop in and not rub? |
Maybe you should call the Springfield Armory or the Custom shop and ask whats a good option to take on this problem. THey are very nice people I have to say, as I was once hesitant to call them myself. |
