Hiyas, I see different pictures of the MC Operator. Some with the grooves on the front and back of the handle, some without. The catalogue I have show it with the grooves. Are the grooves the new version or something else? Yep, I'm new to this and don't know if the grooves have a more technical term. Thanks, Tom |
| I'm going to take a guess here and assume you mean frontstrap checkering? If so, you are probably confusing pics of an MC Operator with those of a TRP Operator. The MC comes with Pachamyrs and has a smooth frontstrap underneath while the TRP OP has a checkered frontstrap. If you meant something else, you'll have to draw me a better picture! This is an MC Operator listed on SA website. The front and rear strap on chequered. http://members.verizon.net/gb2nyc/mcoperator.jpg And this is one I found on the forums. It looks like the front strap is smooth. http://members.verizon.net/gb2nyc/mcunknown.jpg Are they two different operators? The top one has Pachmyr grips. That's what they come with standard. The bottom one someone swapped them out with some nice, wood double diamond grips. So it's smooth underneath the pachmyr grips on the front strap. Which has been stated previously. Is it sinking in yet? LOL.   I'm just jealous because if you're ordering that, you are going to have a fine pistol. |
