| My FIL has one and is looking for a holster for it but he's having a hard time. Anyone have any luck or able to use a holster for any of the other XD pistols successfully? He is wanting a Serpa specifically. I know they aren't popular around here but he likes them and they work for him |

Not specifically the .45, however I have the mod.2 9mm Service. From lots of reading, holsters that work for an XD will work, even though the trigger guard is shaped differently. Until my new holster comes I have been carrying in a Serpa for an XD9 (older, not a mod.2). It fits fine and works fine. I have heard that folks have used leather holsters for the XD, and after a bit of break in have worked just fine. Just not a lot out there currently unless you have the 3.8 XD mod.2 guns, which came out mid last year I believe. |

Should be easy enough to find a Serpa at the LGS to try out. Thanks |
