I have a post recall XDs .45 I just got out to the range.  I have no issues with the trigger or associated recall items.  It is dead on accurate with every type of ammo.  I do however have 2 reliability issues after cleaning the gun, running it wet, using 4 different types of factory ammo, 300 rounds down the pipe, and using a super tight grip.  Anyone's input would be great if they had similar issues and/or sent the gun back to Springfield for work which corrected the problems.  Here we go:

Issue 1:  After press checking the gun it does not go into battery on its own.  This is also an issue when holstering or when it is holstered and it gets pushed up when sitting down.

Issue 2:  Failure to feed almost every magazine with the round pointing up into the barrel (not a stovepipe).  This is due to the slide not going far enough back (shooting with a firm grip) and the gun still allowing the round to be picked up.  This issue was repeated using 4 different 5 round mags.

Thanks for your help!

I haven't ran mine since I got it back yet. Planning on taking it home with me when I go for Thanksgiving and running it a little to see how it does. I can feel a difference in the trigger just from dry firing it, but will see when I run it in the next few days how it feels when actually firing live ammunition. The best way I can describe how it feels is that it no longer feels broken in, which I guess is to be expected when they replace a bunch of parts in the trigger assembly and the grip safety with new parts. It feels a lot like it did when it was brand new. But, I have a feeling that it is going to feel better after I re-break it in.

If it doesn't, I guess it gives me a reason to give PRP or Springer Precision a call...

The trigger feels great to me and I had no unintentional primer strikes or double taps.  I never fired it pre-recall, but my malfunctions are serious.  I already sent it back to Springfield .  I you tubed xds issues and it seems many others have the same problems.
