From where?  How much? I want a 9mm bad.

I just picked up a 9mm one, haven't shot it yet, but just the smaller slim line size of it will be a lot easier to conceal in shorts and shirts then the glock 19 it is replacing.

I also just picked up a 9mm. Great little ccw gun, same size and weight as the 45 (when loaded) and holds two more rounds. Plus, my wife will like shooting it too, since I mostly have 45's.

I found it on the EE for 510.00 brand new.  This is my first compact pistol.

+1 - love my G19 until about April / May. XDs should do the trick.

Took delivery of my XD-S 9mm yesterday and shot 101 rounds through it (had a 100 round box of WWB and an extra round was included). Shot a little low and to the left, but decently within combat accuracy -- could very well be me and not the pistol. Recoil is basically identical to my Glock 26, but getting lined up for the subsequent shot(s) seems to be easier. No failures...yet.

Been handling it more at home today (unloaded, obviously), a few more thoughts (sorry, this is going to be a bit long):

- The rear sight needs to replaced -- it's sloped front to rear, so it's near impossible to manipulate one-handed. If Rob Pincus doesn't come up with a Claw EMS sight for it soon, I may just get a set of Trijicons for a SIG just to have that capability (see the thread I started for the discussion on aftermarket sights).

- A G26 still feels better in my hand, but the XD-S isn't bad. The large backstrap is on it -- I need to find a 3/32" punch and I'll try the small backstrap, but my suspicion is that I'll stick with the large backstrap. It fills my hand a little better than a Kahr PM-9's, but it's not as big as an M&P Shield's -- a nice happy medium that doesn't affect my point of aim (the M&P Shield and the G19 gave me the same problem: the bottom of the backstrap would push into the fleshy part of my palm and force the barrel higher than intended point of aim).

- Because I pretty much carry AIWB full-time now, I actually like the backstrap safety. As I go to reholster, I can place my thumb on the back of the slide and it engages the safety -- lowers the chance there'd be a ND if something were to get caught in the trigger as I push back down. I still need to practice drawing, but thus far, I have yet to grip it in such a way to prevent me from disengaging the safety and pulling the trigger.

- It's surprisingly heavy. Without a scale, I can't tell for sure -- but an empty XD-S actually feels a smidge heavier than an empty G26.

- The trigger could use a bit of work. Out of the box, the trigger is actually almost as heavy as my G26's with the NY2 trigger and the minus connector. The reset seems fairly long, but no longer than my G26's once I compared them side-by-side. It's also grittier and not as smooth as my G26's (I don't have that many rounds with the NY2/minus connector configuration...maybe 100?) although I hope that smooths out over time.

Plan is to put more rounds through it this week. More thoughts to follow...

I love mine. Got one in Bitone back last September. Probably going to pick up a 9mm in Bitone as well. That way I'll have a matching set.

Just got mine in a 9mm. Have not shot it yet but so far am impressed.
I carry inside the waist band and have forgotten I had it on.

I have noticed how tight everything is, I need to put a few hundred rounds though it.

Planning on getting talon grips and the trigger kit.

All in all I like it, but am holding final judgement till after I shoot it.

PRP makes a trigger spring kit. Im assuming that's what he is referring to.

Ill be adding one after I get a 500+ rounds through it. Seems to work good, per reviews.

Was able to hit the range today and throw a little over a 100 rounds thru it. Good little shooter, seemed to shoot left, free handed and off a bag, so when i got home i drifted over the sight a little to the left and will reshoot it to see where im at.

Had no malfunctions of any kind with 115,124, 147, grain stuff along with 124gr +p gold dots.

Trigger seemed alright, kinda heavy pull and a decent reset, i will assume it will get a little better as it gets some rounds thru it , but will look into the trigger kits.

I shot my XDS 45 Sat.  100rds of 230grn FMJ then 20 rnds of JHP, it ate everything and easy to control and get back on target rapid fire.
I do have one of the two factory mags with the pinky extension and one 7 round mag. I like the little pinky extension but the factory mag aint bad either.
Cant wait to shoot again.

I put an Ameriglo classic plain black rear sight on my XDS 45,along with a Meprolight #8 for Sig on the front,
Now my pistol has a front only tritium sight which I prefer, and a rear sight that allows me to manipulate the slide one handed, for about 70 bucks.

I picked up an XDs 9 to go along with my .45.  Love them both, but I enjoy shooting the .45 more.

Sorry for the delay getting back to the thread.

Yes, the above is what I was referring too.
