I put the Springer kit in my XD9 a few weeks ago.  It feels much better all around.  It now has a nice smooth and short pull, with a quick reset.

Where did you find it for $80?  Full kit?

xd45 kit doesn't come with the trigger bar. only sear and springs.

Ahhh, gotcha.  Thanks!  I want to get another kit and finding one for $80 as opposed to $130 would be a heck of a deal!

Enjoy the 45!

I got the Match Target kit from Powder River Precision in my XD. Thinking about trying the Springer kit for my second. And then thought about mixing and matching to see what kind of results I could get.

I put a powder river drop-in trigger on my 9mm xdm.  Love it.

They are not made to mix and match with parts from any other manufacturer. You may end up making a very unsafe pistol in doing so.

Thanks for the kind words from those who have used our parts.

Do they make a kit for XD45 w/ a thumb safety?

Nah I always use snap caps when testing any work out after finished so no danger there. In the end I'm going to have three XD45s.

A snap cap wouldn't catch the problem that can be caused by using parts from another vendor with our parts. I am not speaking from theory, I'm speaking from someone who has had to fix such issues because people ignored our warnings. If you look at the parts and understand what they do, you will see there is no benefit by combining the parts either.

I just noticed your name. I'm on my phone so I couldn't see the entire window. I'll take your word for it, but will still get both kits since I still have two guns to put a kit in. I'd like to have experience with both so I don't have a biased opinion.

I'd like to know as well since my XD45 also has a thumb safety.

Springer does make a kit for those with thumb safety. Don't think Powder River does though. Will check.

They do not make a kit. They DO work on them I'd you send it in. The reason being is the striker safety is different and the demand is too low for them offer a kit. I called . Didn't get a price though.

I have the full kit in my XD45 and XD9 and love them both after getting the bars fit correctly. I did swap factory and kit springs back and forth until I got the feel I liked but they definitely improve reset and speed of follow up shots. Great product!
