I have a Streamlight TLR-3 on my 4.5 inch XDm. Real happy with it so far. It lights up a big room with no problem.  It is small and I do not even notice it on the gun. Easy to turn on and off with trigger finger or weak hand thumb if you grip the gun that way. I think I paid $90 for it but do not remember for sure.

TLR-1 is a great light for the money...so is the TLR-3.

I have a TLR-3 on my XD45 Compact and am pretty happy with it.

+1 for the TLR 3. I have 2 of them and they have served me well.

I have a TLR1 that rides on my XD9 Service doing bedside duty. I can't say enough good things about it. Have not used the TLR1 but they have a good reputation.

i use a TRL-1s and i swear by them.  The only thing i might switch to is the C5L. but for the price I.d stick with the TRL-1s.

TLR-1s.  You might get a good deal on a used one.

I have both a TLR-1s and TLR-3. I have an XD9SC, which narrows down what fits, so the TLR-3 stays on that gun. The TLR-1s is a much better light if you have room on your rail.

If you have the scratch the X300 is said to be better than the TLR-1.

I'm picking up my XD9SC next week. Would you happen to have a pic of your setup?

I have an Insight XTI Procyon on my XD9. Its a great light. Love it. I also agree with everyone else on the TLR's too. They are great lights as well. If money is no object, check out Surfire.

I use tlr-1s. Great light and I switch it from pistol to rifle wit it when I'm bored cause I'm to cheap to buy another. I've heard to HL version is over 300 lumens and a great little light for the price.

Love the Streamlight TLR-1s but it's too big for a 3" XD (my SC) so I'll likely get a TLR-3 eventually.

Keep in mind if you get a TLR-1 that they just recently upgraded from 160 to 300 lumens.

I run a TLR-1 on my XD45C.

I also have a smaller light for my XD9SC, but it's not nearly as bright (I think it's an Insight, but it's Springfield Armory branded. They sold them when the Subcompacts had just come out...)

I stumbled on this thread a few days ago and bought a TLR-1 based off of recommendations. I fired 200 rounds with it attached and worked just fine. I don't really notice the added weight either. Brightness is plenty for night time home defense.

PRP DROP IN TRIGGER KIT XD

I love it, makes rapid firing much easier. I couldn't double tap consistently with the stock trigger.  Shorter & lighter pull, quicker reset. It has helped my shooting become more accurate in general since I put it in.

Here is a video of the XDM trigger pull after installation. Rewind the video to see how simple it is to install. They also offer match grade triggers but they require lots of filing to fit the parts, I didn't feel like messing with that.

I was hoping it was the PRP kit and not the Springer kit. The last couple things I want to do with my XD45 is a swap to Truglo's TFO sights and a PRP trigger kit. I'm debating on the match grade kit, just so I have get as much of that play out and take all the over travel out, but at the same time wondering if the extra money will really get anymore "play" out of the trigger. I know how you feel about the stock trigger.

ETA: I was thinking of the wrong trigger kit when I mentioned the price difference. I was thinking of the "Easy Fit" kit version the "Match Target" kit.

I have the PRP ultimate kit and TFO's on my xd. You won't regret either one.
