Hi i have a springfield that i picked up that has defender model on it.Does any one know how to find year of manufactor or are they still made?It is full size and blued and i paid 300 for it.

If you send a letter in writing to Springield, I think they may be able to help. I think they have thier legal dept look over it before they send requests like that out.

They were made from 1991 to 1998. Apparently they didn't set any sales records or they would still be made.
