Which size(3.8, 4.5 or 5.25) XMD do you like the best and why?  Also does the 3.8 and 4.5 shoot accurate, pretty much the same at distance?  Thanks!!!

I like the bigger guns, but I'm a big guy. They all shoot well, almost as good as a Glock! Could not resist.

Oh, it's XDm

longer the slide, the longer the sight radius, the more accurate the gun will be.  Since the XDm grip is WAY too long for a good ccw gun, I see no reason to go small on them.

I've got a 4.5 and like it as well as having a service model XD in 45. Even though they are full size, I have no problems using them for CCW in my CBST.  They both shoot fantastic! I haven't shot the 3.8 to compare though.

I traded a Glock 26 for an XDm 3.8 and I'm very happy with it. I've put 400 rounds through it at distances form 10' to 50' and have no complaints.  I've even been ccw'ing it foe the last week.  It carries very comfortably.  As was mentioned already, the grip is long but not something that can't be overcome.

I have a 3” XDSC, a 4.5”XDm, and the new 5.25 XDm.  When you say accuracy, it is really relative.  The fact is I can consistently hit the A-zone of an IDPA target with my 3” XDSC at 50 feet, but if I have to go out to 25/35 yards, the 5.25 does work better but it has more advantages than just the longer sight radius, the better PR trigger, the 0.1” front sight all help.
