I have good ol' tried & true Trijicons on both of my XD45's...no complaints whatsoever.

Tried the XS Big Dots and didn't like them at all. They obscured too much of the target past 10 - 15 yards.

Trijicons all the way. I installed them on my XD40 about a yr ago and would recommend them to anyone.

I've heard they are next to impossible to install yourself, how hard are they really?

I've put sights on Glocks, M&Ps, and 1911's but I used a sight tool on all of them

I just put a set of Tru-Glo Night Sights on my XDM-9mm, Piece of cake...
