Nice, I currently own a XD 45 compact and have never found a gun that fits better in my had. I am seriously thinking about picking up the XDm compact but not sure if I want to wait for the 40 or not. still, 13 + 1 capacity with 9mm is nice :)
How do you like the 3.8 inch barrel? Do you notice a big difference between it and the 4”? |

i have a pearce on my compact as well.
i can't tell much difference between the 3.8/4.5 in 9mm or 40; probably 'cause i'm not that great a shooter!. i will wait until the compact comes out in 40 so i can get a conversion barrel and replace my xd40/9 which went to the stepson for Christmas! i was rooting around and found a couple of gear packs and a 9mm mag. maybe i'll offer to swap a g17 for my old stuff back! |

thanks MaxBo. that last pic looks like my new gun/maybe i'll wait for it in 40. 40 cal models shipping out now! Dealers could have them in early Feb. 11 plus 1 in the short mag 16 plus 1 in the extended mag. Thats some serious 40 cal firepower in a small package(two more rounds than the xd subcompact at about the same grip length!) I might have to get one of these too!  Also heard that the 40 cal package may come with three mags instead of two not sure though.
