Well, I took my XDSC 9mm out for the first time today,and I'm pretty aggravated, and disappointed.
I just bought the gun, it was NIB, however, it is a older gun. SEE THIS THREAD First off, I was using the Federal FMJ (the wally world cheap stuff) I started having troubles after about 20rnds or so, and it wasn't locking the slide back after the last round, I had several stovepipes, and I had at least 2 half feeds, where the round would hang up half way in.  At the end, it wasn't locking the slide back after the final shot at all Definatly not a good start for a gun I am expecting to use as a carry gun and depend my life on
The malfunctions occurred with both 10rnd mags I had, I'm thinking it could be the ammo, but really though, this thing should eat any good commercial 9mm. I'm going to pick up some WWB and maybe some Remington, at Wally World and see if it does anything to help the problem. Second problem I am having, it shoots about 4" right at 10yds or so. I looked at the rear site, and it appeared to be off to the right a tad bit off the little witness mark that should be center. Can I just simply drift it back over to the left, and if I do, will it bring it back shooting center, and not right??? I run a total of 150rnds through it, fired every round, no problems there. I love the way it feels, and I love how it shoots, low-recoil, and easy to shoot. I'm just so damn disappointed right now. I want to try the different ammo, and maybe another mag, and try that before I contact SA about it, but it just seems everything I have went to do to get my self up and going on CCW has had a problem somewhere

dude, that sucks. I have ~2500 rds through mine, and most of it was that Federal FMJ from wally world. I've also shot Rem Golden Sabre, Winchester WB, Winchester Ranger, Monarch (privi partisan), Remington FMJ, and Winchester Supreme Elite... I've had 3 failures with mine, and all 3 looked to be deep set primers from the Monarch ammo. All 3 rounds wouldn't fire out of a second (MSC182's) XD sub. Hope they get yours squared away.

I got a box of WWB and a box of Rem, to go along with my one box of Federal left to try when it comes back, and I'll have 4 new 13rnd mags when i get it back too (3 free from the promo, and one I ordered) plus the two 10rnd mags i sent with the gun back. Maybe SA will give me a surprise present coming back??
