Sorry, I am pretty sure this would have been covered elsewhere, but upon searching I could not locate any topics about it.  I was just curious as to what, besides the rail, are the differences in features or quality between an MC Operator and the Springfield Loaded series pistols?  Is there an upgrade in fit? Parts used or bbl used?  I am planning on buying one in the near future and just wanted to know exactly what I am getting.

I'm pretty sure they are fitted the same and use the same parts

same parts, and supposedly get a little more attention when fitted.

The majority of the Loaded models are 100% made in Brazil and come with a two piece barrel. The MC Operators are manufactured here in the US from unfinished Imbel (Brazil) forgings and come with a one piece storm lake barrel.

SGB, you are saying that the barrel in my new MC Operator is made by Stromlake with Springfield's name stamped on the barrel ???

I'm saying that the last I was aware Storm Lake was/is making Springfields barrels. Springfield may very well have recently changed vendors however I'm seen nothing indicating that they've done so.
