Hey, I have a SAA from USfirearms, and I'm curious as to what you guys use to clean your 45's with. Do you use JAGS when you clean it? What's the best gun lube to get lead out? I have my way of thinking but I wanted to get your guys take on it. The manual really doesn't get very discreptive and I wanted to see if I've been doing something wrong. Feedback would be awesome. I appreciate it. 
Note:I normally use CLP, but I heard Remington oil is good stuff as well, and better to get the lead out. |

whatever yoiu used/done,its all wrong.
i use jags both brass and plastic to clean my guns. lead is a differnt story. i got tired of trying to get the lead out so i used copper wash/plate bullets or jacketed. if i do use lead, then i use those brass mesh bore scurbbers. they are somewhat slow, but do work up to a point. afa lubes and cleaners go, its what i have on hand. |
