Too short Seriously, that is sweet looking. Mine has a lot of rounds through it and the finish took a hit over the years and needs a timing job. Now it sits in the safe. http://i391.photobucket.com/albums/oo360/fallfaster/Rotationof100_1884.jpg Wow, good looking gun there. I want the whole set of Colt Snakes. Ha. If i ever win the lottery I will have each caliber and length. Quoted:
Beautiful Python Mine's a ugly 6" bright stainless. Thank you Sir. I looked a few 6" Stainless before this one but couldn't get over how nice this one looked (to me) Quoted:
You can't post blurry pictures and ask people to rate an item. ![]() ![]() Hey no complaining, I said i was not a photographer. And my camera is from like 1990 maybe... |
| Pythons are like pizza and sex ––- even if its "bad" its still pretty good. I doubt anybody (well, there's always somebody) will badmouth any Python ––- even the funkiest looking examples (and yours most definitely is not, yours is cherry) command $800 price tags now |

Nightshade2x Those 8" .38 Spl target Pythons are one of the "Holy Grail " type finds for Python fans –– right along with the 3" models –– very nice. (Well, Colt made enough of them that im not sure if any of them are that hard to find –––– but it is vigorous exercise stretching your wallet open far enough to attain one sometimes) Side note: Isnt it funny how a $1500 Python is viewed as uber-expensive, while at the same time, many people dont blink at that price on a 1911 format or an AR |
| Wow. Very nice Pythons. I love them. I always saw my Python as being very expensive (i payed 1000) and never thought about how my AR is pushing 1500 already and no sight on her yet. Also i never noticed how crappy my photography is. Ha. We yall got some very beautiful pistols there. I like mine a lot, shoot it less than i want because i'm always afraid something will break. But I hope to own more of these beauties in the future. |
| Wow, turning in to a Colt Python picture thread. I love it. I have had my Python for roughly 2 years, the original price on my Python was 900 but it took an extra 100 to walk out the door with her that day at a gun show. But those grips on that stainless look like coco bolo to me but i could be way off. Just a guess. I would love to buy more of these babies but i recently bought a new truck so I'm stuck with those payments for now. |

JETWC - What can you tell me about the stocks on your stainless? Thanks, Have fun and be safe. Nightshade2x I bought them online at the ColtForum.com from a guy that originally bought them from the Colt Custom Shop. They are made of Rosewood and are some of the nicest grips I've seen for the Python.... and why I bought them. |
