| Has anyone had any problems shooting .45 Auto Rim ammunition out of there S&W revolvers. I had heard there was a problem with using it because of the firing pins being to short. Looking to see if this was fact or fiction thanks. |

Thanks for the responses guys. Will be ordering a 325 Night Guard tomorrow and that was my last question. Not a deal breaker, but something I wanted to know. Would like to carry .45 Auto Rim in speed strips when I carry concealed. ?? Why not Moons or half moons? One thing I have noticed is most of the factory AR is just lead ball. I have not seen any self defense ammo in AR around here. |

I have not had an issue at all with my ammo in my gun. |

Quoted: Quoted: Never seen 45AR speed strips just 38/357 ones, although I have read of some 44Spec/44Mag speed strips? You can get them here. http://www.tuffproducts.com/product.php?productid=16198 Remember that the .45AR has a rim nearly twice as thick as those other rounds mentioned, in order to set the correct headspace that is notmally set for the .45ACP with a moonclip. The .45AR might not fit onto that speedstrip, and even if it does, it may not be secure enough to put in a pocket that way. I'd check it out first. Then you can let me know for my .45AR.

When the corbon 45AR gets here I will report back with how I make out, thanks for the heads up. |
| I believe Black Hills makes a 255 gr Keith SWC load for the AR, somewhere in the vicinity of 850 fps. A little slow, but it'll get the job done. I load the Oregon Trail 255 SWC over a charge of Universal and it clocks at 1000 fps out of my Thunder Ranch Model 22. |

45 Auto Rim fit perfect in the speed strips. Just wanted to pass it on.
