I've owned one for nearly 25 years. Not tacticool or pretty, but 100% reliable and tough as nails.
I would recommend it without hesitation.

Brother I use to carry one for a living.
Yes get it. It will never stop firing.
We beat the hell out of them and they always went bang when you pulled the trigger.

I've got two stainless speed sixes (the round butt version) and they are great. I've had one for almost 26 years and the other for right at 20 years. Never a problem with either one.

I have a Service Six and prefer the action over my other d/a Rugers. The Six series are still a bargain in today's wheelgun market.
