I looked at one today and am still not sold on it. 6.5" barrel, colored front site, adjustable rear, ported, and being .44mag seems like a good deal for $340 but the cylinder spun roughly in my hand and it still had some play when in lockup, not any worse than many Smith's I've handled lately. Thought about getting it as a truck gun though I'd prefer no longer than a 5" barrel compared to the 6.5". |
Well, I've posted this pic a few times this evening. I am very fond of my Taurus Trackers. The 44 mag has over 2,000 rounds through it and has been on a hunting trip (see Eotech mounted). Some here will discredit them...that's fine. For the money, they are a great weapon. They make a 4" model as well if you intent to conceal it/backpack with it.
