| firing low powered .38 special ammo out of their .357 mags? I know, ful powered ammo is a lot of fun too but I cam reload .38 lead semi-wadcutter ammo for around 6 cents a pop. Now that is a lot of cheap fun. |

One thing I like about bobbing a hammer is you still retain the ability to cock the gun single action if there is a need. A slight presure on the triggerf lifts the hammer which can then be hauled back with the thumb in standard fashion. I've bobbed an SP101 without any negatives and now it dosen't hang up coming out of the pocket. ODG |
