I am thinking about a scope / rings / mount that I could use on my 629, my 617 and my beastie boy 500. What can you good people recommend? All guns mentioned have 8" barrels. Thanks, Gunzer

That's a pretty wide range of handguns. I would have a look at the Weigand Combat Handgun site. They offer a pretty good range of Bases. As to the Scope, because of the heavier recoil I would look at the Burris with the Posi-lock. I'd also try to set up each gun with it's on setup. But that's just me. |

i really like the 2-7 power thompson scope i have on my encore. it tracks true and doesnt seem to mind the hop i get when shooting with the bi-pod bounce............i havve never had a scope on a wheel gun so i cannot give a definitive answer, but i will through Leupold out because sooner or later someone has to.
