so i've decided to polish my ruger security six to a mirror like finish. Got started on it last night, it's going to take a long time. Anyone else got any suggestions or comments? This is purely for looks, this is not a carry gun, it's a sit on gun rack, range queen.

Is it already nickle plated I take it?

Try Wennel metal polish, it's great!

Dremel tool with polishing wheel, works great.

no sir, it is not nickel plated. It is stainless steel with lots of uneven machine marks.

I am using a dremel tool with jewlers rouge.
