Taurus Model 85 Ultralight 38spl > Revolvers

Evening everyone. Have a chance to purchase a preowned Taurus ultralight and was wondering what the general opinion was with regard to the Ultralight material. Stay away or good to go?

I'd say get it because Taurus has a Lifetime Warranty. Sounds very intriguing to me, and I love small revo's for CCW!

If its in decent shape without any problems and its a good price, i'd say go for it. I'd be a good CCW for cheap.

I have a titanium ultralight from Taurus, and I love it. It has been reliable for me, and is very light weight. I use a clip draw on it to carry Mexican style, and it really disappears even under a t shirt. I hardly notice it because it is so light. Its the piece I grab if I just run out real quick to the corner store and don't feel like rigging up the 1911.

I just picked up the Ultraligh M85 and I love it, works great for me as my CCW.

You'll find them next to the trigger guard calibration devices at your local sporting goods dept.

I bought one of these this Saturday. Awesome little piece! Great fit and finish as well. And you cannot beat the lifetime warranty!

I have a blued Ultralight I've carried for 10 years. Great gun. No corrosion whatsoever, and believe me when I tell you this gun has been neglected. It has sat in gloveboxes for extended periods, coat pockets, you name it. I'd buy one again in a heartbeat.
