LEO Trade Model 65s
This has always been my favorite revolver. I can't stop buying the damn things when I see them come up. So yes, I got another today. Enjoy while they last. |

Gone already. They never last long. I have a three inch Model 65 that is just about the perfect combat revolver. Just needs better grips. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/johnrippert/65-3.jpg |

Best combat revolver is a round butt, 3 inch model 65.... http://i.imgur.com/OiDa2Nxh.jpg Mine is a factory DAO gun I enjoy carrying a vintage M-36, front pocket carry to quick in and out places after dark. Outdoor's carry is a 4" barreled, moon clip equipped "N" frame. |

Are those Ahrends grips?

Came in late last week. Not as nice cosmetic condition as my others, but still the usual 'damn near unfired' look in general. Definitely a holster queen. And whoever had this thing made a loooongtime habit of leaning of it. The grips are more worn than any I've ever seen on any gun. The ones on the other side are almost smooth. https://s16.postimg.org/d8ite3qsl/65-4.jpg

Just picked up my Aim Surplus police trade in 65 stainless from the FFL. It has the damn Hillary Hole. I contacted AIM and they offered a full return with shipping label. I appreciate that, but they wasted a ton of my time by not at least mentioning there was a risk of a lock. I will not be keeping mine. No room for lock guns in my collection. |

Mine was the same. It had the lock. My FFL and I were both floored. I contacted AIM and they offered a full return with shipping label. I appreciate that, but they wasted a ton of my time by not at least mentioning there was a risk of a lock. I will not be keeping mine. No room for lock guns in my collection. Quoted:

They could have sorted them and charged a premium for the pre lock models. Was quite unimpressed with AIM on this one. I will likely not have a problem getting my money back, but never would have bought this if I knew there was a risk of a lock. |

Absolutely. I would have paid decent money to ensure there was no lock. Was quite unimpressed with AIM on this one. I will likely not have a problem getting my money back, but never would have bought this if I knew there was a risk of a lock. I got Wolff springs and a new hand on order. |
