It's a .45 in an N Frame.  There's all kinds of loads that will work.
I've seen some of these large frame revolvers that the grip was trimmed down to K Frame dimensions which would help with concealment I suppose but it's still a big cylinder.  I'd suggest a high ride pancake holster to help pull the gun into the contour of your body.
I'd figure something like the Miculek grips would keep your clothing from hanging up on the grip and giving you away.
I regret I ddin't come up with the cash for the .45 LC 2.5" barrel with bid dot sights of which only 210 were made.

You can modify the cylinder to fire .45 LC, .45LC with moon clips, .45ACP with moon clips.
Most shoulder holsters wouldn't conceal a weapon this size very well unless you are wearing a very voluminous jacket/Wool Sweater
I've always wanted to try one of Ken Null's holsters with something like that or with a L-Frame.  He only lists the J-frame but I wouldn't be surprised if he could whip up a Cityslicker or SMZ for an N-Frame.  The SMZ used to be made for the M10/M11 Ingram and may have been made for the Beretta 93R.
You could shift your body to cause it to swing forward a little grasp the grip and turn the weapon outwards to free the snap and pull the firearm fromt he holster.  The article I read on it years ago said it was very fast with practice.  I believe the article was written by a professional bodyguard who has worked in many countries and wrote articles for many magazines over the years.

I have one, it is a 4", .45 Colt, the same as a Colt SAA. I know that some were chambered in .45ACP. I don;t think you can use moon clips with the .45 Colt, they are have nothing to clip to on .45 Colt. they work on rimless cartridges.

I used both Federal 225 SWCHP and Winchester Silvertip 225 gr when I carried mine as a duty gun.  Concealment is difficult as the gun is about the size of a box of cereal.  I used a Baker pancake OWB and a Bianchi vertical shoulder holster.  I'm also a very big guy.  If you want to get very spendy get the Lawman vertical rig as used in Dirty Harry movies.
