| In the past I had a lightweight Taurus tracker 7 shot .357 mag that I got in a trade. It was a fine revolver and I only got rid of it when the original owner wanted it back in another trade. I haven't had a revolver in 5 or so years and I just bought a S&W 627 Vcomp from a member here. I was just looking at picking up another Taurus in .357 so I had two guns in the same caliber. I liked the tracker but I like the fact that the 608 is 8 shots like my 627. Is there any reason to go with one over the other? I used the search feature but I couldn't come up with anything. |

from their site the tracker in 28.8oz the 608 comes in at 44oz Other than weight, is there any reason to go with one over the other? Bulk. If this is a carry gun then the 7 rounder is the way to go (I carry one in the summer). If just a range toy, then either works fine. |
