| Definitely a Charter Arms. .38spl most likely. Value is, well, not very darned much. I have one someone gave me and I figure that is about exactly what it is worth! I simply would never pay money for one myself, but they are not quite in the "junk" category and I have heard others say they got decent service out of them. |

Charter Arms had a history of spotty quality, and died a painful death. If the gun is unfired, I might take a chance on it, but would never give over about $175.00 for it. Charter Arms is trying to comeback again, but I'd still consider the gun an orphan, and price it accordingly. By the way, the so-called "unbreakable" berylium firing pins weren't unbreakable at all.
