Charter Arms did, I don't know if they still make them.

Standard single action revolvers have the loading gate on the right side. works well for a lefty. As for double action, there's always the "break open" style. Having the cylinder open to the left does suck a bit, but it's not a major hinderance IMHO.

There's not much of a disadvantage to being a lefty shooting a standard revolver.  I like the cylinder release on S&Ws better than on Rugers from a lefty perspective.

Reloads are different, but not necessarily slower.  You'll want to hit the cylinder release with your trigger finger and use your weak hand thumb to push it out.  This will allow you to hold the gun by the cylinder (thumb through where the cylinder would be when in battery and middle, ring and little finger wrapping around the trigger guard to hold the other side of the cylinder) and manipulate the ejector rod with your weak hand index finger.  This allows your strong hand to be free to go for a speed loader or load individual rounds.  Your strong hand then closes the cylinder while moving to grip the gun.

It's confusing to explain, but this video does a good job showing how it's done.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTT8qZkuWjI

This is what I do. It works fine with my 28-2 Highway Patrolman.

I'm not a Massad Ayoob fanboy, but what I take from his teachings are absolute gold.

Try the single action revolvers, the loading gate opens on the right as they were meant to be held in the left hand. A cavalryman's right hand was for his main weapon, the sabre.
