It's either a bead blasted finish or it's been hard chrome plated.

The frame looks aluminum...anodized
The barrel & cylinder are stainless...glass beaded

Agreed, sweet grips.  Anyone know where they can be purchased.

As for the revolver, it looks like a standard aluminum frame stainless barrel/cylinder to me.  The striping is an artifact of the image (it's also in the background)

They look like the stock grips that came on my 642 "delux". Mine are laminated wood and do look and feel great.
