Holy cow is that thing sweet! Ultra light weight and the trigger is very nice for a factory DAO. We put 50 rounds through it (.38 special) so we didn't get to test +p recoil. I thought the factory grip was nice as well. Sweet little gun. |

At 7 yards I put 4 out of five in the red circle. I must admit that the front sight on it is something I would change to a XS Big Dot or the like. My wife was hitting 3/5 in the red circle but she does not shoot as much as I do. |

There are a lot of YouTube videos showing nice very nice shooting out of these LCRs. Mine will eventually be wearing a Big Dot though. |

I would suggest having your MIL with bad hands try this gun before buying. The recoil is fairly sharp in a pistol this light even with .38 special. It's very manageable with the Hogue grips, but it might be painful for somebody with "bad hands". Accuracy is very impressive, if I do my part I can place all five shots within a few inches of each other at 7 yards... the wonderful trigger no doubt helps in this. |

i just got mine.. and due to everyplace being sold out of ammo all i've shot is +p self defense ammo (hornady critical defense 110gr. FTX and winchester bonded 130gr. PDX1)
at 7 yards, after I stopped flinching i was getting 4/5 in the red. holy moley what a lot of kick though! can't wait to see how the gun acts with standard .38.. love it so far though (: loaded, in my front pocket holster you kind of forget the gun is even there (so light!). |

The light weight is a trade off for increased recoil in any revolver. It is not a gun that you will want to shoot all day. We were looking at it for my wife to carry in her purse. Light weight, takes 38+p's, nice trigger, accurate, no Hilary Hole. |

Some place want to train her with a .22, but sell her the LCP
She can train with it to feel confident and then if she has to use it, hand pain is nothing compared to survival. |
