[ARCHIVED THREAD] - SR9 Upgrades?

There were some threads over on RugerForums about mag extensions and trigger kits but I from what I remember reading none of them have come to fruition yet and no release dates have ever been set. I haven't come across anything about night sight upgrades yet, just the red and green high vis front posts are available (personally I don't care for them).

No Problem....Honestly, I don't think we're gonna see a lot of aftermarket accessories for the SR-9....

Charger,
I haven't subscribed over there yet.
What can can you tell me about their
Strikers? Are they supposed to help
the heavy trigger pull?

I thought it was just a coated striker, probably just helps in needing less lube with an end result of less wear? I thing the same guy was designing a 3.5lb trigger bar like what is available for the Glocks. I think if we give the SR9 some time it could show some promise in the after market world.

I'm sure that if some one thinks
they can make a little money,
they will step up & produce
some kit...

You are correct, we have to
be patient. But I'll keep shooting

You can get a Ghost trigger bar to improve the trigger and someone is making SS guide rods if you want that.

guys at ruger forums have a lot of info on these ghosts. even a break down on the best parts to polish to get a smoother pull
