| Will post pics when it arrives, but I just bought one for my wife. I stumbled across it on gunbroker while looking to see if I could get a better deal than I could locally. She fell in love with the LCP at the gunshow, and I HAD planned on carrying it on occasion, but now I guess I will have to get me a new handgun. It's not on Ruger's site, nor have I really found much on the net for them. I know I lost a few man points, but I am really excited to shoot my wife's first gun as I havent had the chance to shoot an LCP. |
I ordered one of these for my fiance for Valentine's day as well  She saw that they have a pink (raspberry) model and was very excited! I paid $249 plus shipping from Hoffman Guns They have the standard black model for $269.

A real man would just admit that he liked the color raspberry.
Not that there's anything wrong with that. I saw them at the last gun show, and I have to admit I kind of liked the looks. As far as people thinking they look like toys, get used to it. Plastic and strange colors and finishes are going to be the norm. Remember, hot salt blue has only been around for 73 years. So its not like finishes haven't changed before. Polymer frame firearms have been aound for decades. Gutta percha was used for stocks even back in the 19th century. Pistol stocks were heavily synthetic instead of wood for most of the 20th century. It is not a new trend. |
