| Quick question... Do new Ruger SP101's come with the interneal locking thing? If so, about what year did they start putting the locks in the guns? |
|
Quoted: Ruger hasn't started putting it on their DA wheelguns yet, but it will probably come in the next few years. They've already started putting it on some of the blackhawks....... I would think they would know better than to add locks to their older models like the SP101. Seems a lot of would-be S&W buyers go with Ruger instead, mainly because of the internal lock issue. |

The LCR has one. Probably won't be long before the GP100 and SP101 get them too. |

Adding locks to older models like the GP100 and SP101 - models that originally did not come with locks - will probably hurt their sales. I'm hoping that Ruger would know this. |
