Just wanted to share a quick video of my GP100.

I had a 6" stainless GP100 for nearly 20 years and should have never sold it. I got caught up in a change over to weapons with night sights and had a brain cramp. I tried to buy it back a few weeks later, but couldn't get it back from the guy I sold it too. Big mistake. GP100s are tanks and the triggers just keep getting better and better, no matter how many magnum rounds you run through them.

I have had a 5" for about 20 years. Limited issue. If you think the balance is about perfect on the 4" you should try to find a 5" to compare. I think the 5" is perfect, although I wouldn't mind adding a 4" and a 6" to my collection! http://www.bobcolley.com/guns/gp1001b.jpg Very jealous - I have been keeping my eye out for a 5 inch for a long time. I have an old 5 inch S&W, and I REALLY want a 5 inch GP100. |

Made hot for the OP. As for the GP100 itself, I like it. I prefer the old grips with the rosewood inserts though. I'm currently stuck between getting a stainless GP100 but I can't decide between the 4" or the 3" barrelled version at my local funstore.
The 4" model is $545 including tax. The 3" model is $525 including tax. I'm going to be using it for a CCW gun but I'd also like to target shoot with it. I have a bunch of .38 lead round nose bullets, but I've heard they can mess up the barrell. Is that true? |
