ended up buying myself a MKIII Target model for my 40th Bday

I love it so far

600 or so rounds through it since Monday of last week

Here is a picture of it and some of it's friends after today's range session

Bought the same pistol about 6 months ago. Great gun, you'll love it until it comes to having to reinsert the mag to get the hammer forward when reassembeling after cleaning. Other then that, its perfect.

There are ways around that

It been a while since I stripped my Mark III or 22/45. IIRC you have to tip the gun kinda upside down to avoid the problem. You have to make sure the hammer in the correct position before you start re-assembling. Otherwise its next to frigging impossible to get it back together correctly.
